I had my dental cleaning covered in full by my insurance for a few times at Gentle Dental since 2023. My dental insurance was changed in 2024 and I updated the new insurance info to Gentle Dental right after my cleaning session 7 months ago. The dental service itself was okay, however, their billing department is terrible. After my one and only visit they billed me instead of my insurance. I was able to get a hold of them to let me them know that they needed to bill my insurance, and not me. They eventually were able to successfully bill my insurance. However, they continued to send me bills for the full amount of the visit. This was more than frustrating. Same billing issues as described in earlier posts by others! It’s been half a year of trying to get them to clear my bill through insurance and I’m still waiting. Cleaning/evaluation was also rushed (I was their last appointment of the day). Some friendly staff, but definitely not worth it.
First time to the dentist in 8+ years. They were kind, professional, quick and welcoming at Gentle Ballard location. I will be back. The booking process online is easy. Hygienist & dentist were kind and patient. Informed me of all pricing of optional services with no pressure, sales tactics, etc. Just medical professionals there to do a great job.
Very unimpressed with the attitude of the other woman on front desk. Katie or Kate is usually super sweet and always helpful and finds some kind of resolution or answer for me. This new woman or perhaps shes always been there(I have never interacted with her) is a bit rude. It honestly is throwing my whole experience off because I absolutely fell in love with the staff, specially Katie and Dom!
