This has been my dentist office since moving to Seattle 4 years ago. I always have a great experience. Everyone is personable and professional and the office visits well managed. They make recommendations without selling. The staff may occasionally change but they are consistently great. I highly recommend the Ballard location to family and friends.
I had a frustrating experience with Gentle Dental regarding a fluoride treatment charge. I was not informed in advance that the fluoride would cost extra, and only after the procedure did the front desk mention a $36 charge. When I expressed my concern, they assured me it would be waived. However, I kept receiving bills for the same charge despite calling multiple times (3-4) to clarify. This was my first time seeing gentle dental. Very nice front desk staff. She did not request pay copay first. However Bright now dental Seattle every visit asked copay first otherwise didn’t let me go inside. They cheated me 6 years. I paid them extra money 6 years. Went here for a few years and it started off just fine, then a few not so great encounters changed my mind. I would not recommend! 1. The dentist told me it’d be fine to do an x-ray when pregnant, but then I made eye contact with the dental assistant and she shook her head no. Whether you should or shouldn’t do the x-ray when pregnant, the misalignment was concerning. 2.
