BEWARE — this place is a total scam. I’ve never experienced a more predatory dental practice in my life. They pile on hidden fees, try to upsell unnecessary procedures, and pressure you into things you don’t need. They even tried to remove my permanent retainer after I explicitly told them not to! I had braces six years ago — yet they tried to convince me I needed them again. The front desk staff are clueless, and their customer service is nonexistent. I had my dental cleaning covered in full by my insurance for a few times at Gentle Dental since 2023. My dental insurance was changed in 2024 and I updated the new insurance info to Gentle Dental right after my cleaning session 7 months ago. The dental service itself was okay, however, their billing department is terrible. After my one and only visit they billed me instead of my insurance. I was able to get a hold of them to let me them know that they needed to bill my insurance, and not me. They eventually were able to successfully bill my insurance. However, they continued to send me bills for the full amount of the visit. This was more than frustrating. Same billing issues as described in earlier posts by others! It’s been half a year of trying to get them to clear my bill through insurance and I’m still waiting. Cleaning/evaluation was also rushed (I was their last appointment of the day). Some friendly staff, but definitely not worth it.
