Every time I have been in a Gentle Dental office, they have been pleasant to interact with. I have never had them recommend unnecessary work, and they have taken the time to explain my options. I also like that the spaces are not crowded and that they are a calm atmosphere.
Went in for a tooth extraction and the dentist tells me condescendingly about everything else wrong with my teeth except the one thing I came in for. Talked down to me the entire time. Horrible experience. Walked out. I’d rather deal with the tooth pain than that dentist. ETA: they put on my chart that I was scheduled for a comprehensive examination when I specifically told them I only needed an extraction. Just them trying to pad the bill even more than just their over inflated prices.
I used to go to Lloyd center gentle dental. They took my insurance no problem. I tried to transfer to the one downtown only to be told they don't take my insurance. Doesn't make sense but at least they were kind enough to give me a reduced rate due to the inconvenience.
I have used this dentist for awhile now. Then moved but I had such great service I knew when I moved back I had to come here. The front desk team is so friendly, really the whole office is so welcoming and accommodating. Quick and efficient. I used to be terrified of the dentist until I started to come here now I look forward to my appointments so thank you all!
The downtown office does not have hot water in their customers restroom. Office staff reported to me that their employee restroom does not have hot water either. It has been this way since I transferred from a Gresham dentist in August of 2022. I have reported over and over again. I was told by the office manager that I was the only one who had complained-I told her I did not believe her.
