What a great office! Everyone is super sweet & friendly. They have a different person for each service ( x-ray, exam, gum check & cleaning, & assistant) so I got to chat with 6 people while I was there & every single one was kind. I felt like everything was thoroughly checked and it was easy to make an appointment.
Such a wonderful group of professonals at this office. From the time i checked in from the office assistant to the technicians to the doctors Everyone was helpful & knowledgable Everyone made me comfortable & put me at ease. I have extreme anxiety about going to the dentist due to very sensitive teeth and a lot of bad experiences. The entire team at Gentle Dental is very kind and didn't judge me when I explained my anxiety or pain prior to scheduling my first appointment. Dr. K, the dentist, is very knowledgable, calming, and respectful. In my first appointment, she explained the possible reason behind my painful past experiences (the first dentist ever to believe me and have an explanation for the pain). My husband and I have visited this office a total of 5 times in approx 2 1/2 months. Every time the office and rooms looked as though no one cleans. Floors dirty, rooms in back have dirt and dust on them that are 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. The first time we mentioned this, the tech said they would let staff know and it would be taken care of. We'll it wasn't. The last time my husband went to office to have cleaning done, there was a big black roach on floor that everyone had to step over when coming in. I am a recent patient at Gentle Dental at Grossmont center. So far I am extremely pleased with the care, courtesy and professionalism of the entire staff, not just the dentists. Dr. Alan Mohammed, a consummate professional, worked out several options plus I had a consultation with a specialist before the final plan was worked out that fit my age, health and budget. I cannot speak about other offices but my experience here has been exceptional.
