I thought I was getting braces to correct an overbite, but the most significant result was that the braces stopped harmful and painful clenching that was causing extreme sensitivity of my gums. I never wanted braces and dreaded getting them. However, I had a tooth that had been bugging me for years. Dr. Slivka made the whole experience a positive one. Getting braces was somewhat of an impulse decision for me. I had always wanted them but never really knew why, i was probably generally insecure about my teeth. From beginning to end, every single staff member made me feel at home and comfortable. They took their time explaining and answering all of my questions and concerns. I am extremely happy with my results and I highly recommend. I was able to fix my crowded teeth and crooked jawline and it has changed my life. My jaw no longer hurts and I am able to have a normal bite. I already feel more confident smiling as well.

I decided at the age of 49 to go ahead and get my bite corrected using orthodontia. I could not be happier with the results! My bite is corrected and my teeth look gorgeous. My braces were off in only 18 months. Dr. Slivka and his staff and great people. They are caring and even funny. No regrets at all here.

I had provided orthodontics for my entire family and my wife insisted it was now my turn. I came in with a bad snoring problem along with TMJ and tinnitus. Once we started treatment we found the snoring eliminated and tinnitus almost non-existent. My quality of sleep has improved and my smile is the one I’ve always wanted. When my 80 year mother saw the results she cried as she had always wanted me to have braces.

I am very happy! I had a large diastema (gap) in my front teeth and it’s closed now! I wanted braces for my whole life but could not get them until I was an adult. I thought that I was too old to get braces, but once I started I realized people of all ages get braces and it’s never too late!
