Disappointing. I was told on the phone my appointment would be 1 to 2 hours and that it would include a cleaning. When I arrived to the office, they took x-rays then the dentist came in and did his initial assessment. Only after providing a billable service, I was told that there is no dental hygienist on staff Thursdays and Fridays (I was scheduled for a Thursday appt) and the next available cleaning appointment was 2 months in future. It was our first visit to Sandy Gentle Dental. The staff were all extremely friendly and the hygienist did a great job talking through the process with my girls who feel quite nervous about going to the dentist. Hoping all future appointments go as well as this one.
Overcharged for dental cleaning. Even with insurance they charged me over $1000 without explaining the costs or why I needed a special cleaning. My new dentist said I never needed the special cleaning in the first place. They absolutely should have explained the total costs before doing the cleaning because I never would have signed up for that. I heard multiple patients frustrated about their bills as well. I'm never going back to this office.
The people who answer the phones here are rude and unprofessional. Was transferred to someone named Naomi in “Member Services” who was rude and unprofessional and hung up on me when I asked a question. Transferred around and around the world to schedule a simple appointment, yet can’t reach anyone at Gentle Dentle Sandy. I request to speak to the Office Manager at Gentle Dental Sandy.
I love Sandy Gentle Dental! The staff is amazing, kind and helpful. I usually have so much anxiety dealing with dental issues/appointments, but not when I go to Gentle Dental. Dr Ryan Luchtefeld is a miracle worker and I always feel a million times better after I see him. I wish every dentist office was as skillful and understanding as the crew at Sandy Gentle Dental! Thank You So Much for taking such good care of me! I truly appreciate all that you do🫶
