Today myself and my consumer had one of the worst experiences at Gental Dental in West Salem. I provide in home care to my consumer who lives in Dallas and is disabled. I handed in his paper work two weeks ago, and at that time his appointment for this morning was scheduled. I had not been to the dentist in almost 25 years. I'm amazed my teeth held out this long, but I finally had one tooth crack and a piece broke off that had an old filling in it. I did not know what to expect and was very nervous about my visit. I admit I did panic a bit at first, but the dentist and his assistant were quite reassuring and I was able to calm down. I've been going to the West Salem Gentle Dental for a couple of years now. They have always been very nice to work with and the staff is very friendly. Getting me in for an appointment when there's one available has been great. And if they have an earlier opening they always are quick to contact me. The dentist(s) have given me solid advice on what needs to be done to repair and maintain my teeth. Both they and the hygienist(s) have great chair side manor and a soft touch. I highly recommend them.
Even though extremely painful! I got the best care, with kindness, compassion and heart! They took there time made sure I was comfortable. You can tell they truly care for their patients. I would highly recommend Gentle Dental of West Salem.
They got more customers and decided to stop giving courtesy to their past customers. I've called three times and they don't answer the phone even during their normal office hours. Even leaving three voice messages asking for someone call me back I get no response. They were fine when they just opened, but now it feels like it's impossible to even get a hold of someone.
