I feel compelled to share my experience at Get Ready, Set Grow Academy as a word of caution for potential JOB SEEKERS . Unfortunately, my time there left much to be desired, and I believe it's important for others to be aware of what they might encounter. This was the worse experience for my 5 year old child and my self: Experience 1) When my child would finish his work early and correctly (on all occasions) he would go over to play with the toys and get screamed at for leaving his seat. When I asked my child about this, the response was "they have so many cool toys but we are not allowed to ever play with them and I was finished with my work for a while". Everthing revolves about money and how they can squeeze more money out of parents. Zero concern for actually teaching and the wellbeing of kids. Stay away, many other options in the area! don't be fooled by the looks if it.

I toured and signed up with  Get Ready Set Grow Academy   and thought it would be a good facility to send my child to. It seemed well organized and had a lot to offer.  Five  months before my child's enrollment was supposed to start they started deducting payments from my account.  This was when Covid lockdowns started and their school was actually closed.  I told them I was willing to give up the reserved spot for August if they would stop deducting money and having me pay for school that had not started yet. This was a great daycare that my son absolutely adored. But their entire response to the COVID-19 pandemic has been horrific. I am an essential healthcare worker and they literally closed the close at 8 am on a Thursday with zero warning and I was left struggling for daycare. They have not reimbursed us one penny during their 8 weeks of shutdown. And further, his teacher tested positive and they shut down another 2 weeks, but still insisted on taking full tuition. I had the worst experience at this school. The staff is cold and extremely rude. I experienced a teacher sleeping with my ex husband. I spoke to the school about this being a conflict and they totally tried to say I was lying. Well the teacher then had a child by my ex husband they wouldn't deny it and I was never given an apology. Then the school kicked out my son for having number two accidents even after a doctor wrote them a letter stating he was in medical care to try and solve the issues. This school is a total waste of money. Beautiful interior but horrible staff. The director is rude and not even the least bit nurturing. The owner will walk past you and not even speak. This place does not care about children, all they care about is money. Staff and teachers are incompetent and should not be working in the childcare field. The director Sue is a know it all and is insensitive to the needs of children.. This place is about making money that's all! Keep your kids away from this hell hole.

I could could not agree with Rich more. Every single word he wrote is true. This school is run by a bunch of angry, unprofessional people who don't even like kids (or people in general for that matter). Ms. Sue yells at both kids and parents, she gets physical too (I witnessed her grabbing my son by shoulders and shaking him!!!!). My son is traumatized by something that happened at school, and now is crying every time we get close to the school. I agree with Mary B's post. Stay away from this school. The staff is beyond rude. They don't care about the children, they only care about money. My child didn't learn anything there. And beware, the after school enrichment classes are nothing more than an extra 45 minututes of babysitting. The only thing that this school has to offer is nice decor. Stay away, please
