I recently visited a Beaches Tanning Salon in Colorado Springs, CO, with the address of 3018 N. Nevada Ave. Suite 110, Colorado Springs, CO 80907, on Monday, February 24, 2025, to spend a week trial to try out the red light therapy/ tanning beds. I came into the store with a Groupon I purchased for $7.00 for a week trial of the tanning beds. I only tan a couple months a year. After I had my base tan I was talked into freezing my account instead of cancelling. Freezing your account means you put $5 towards it each month until you unfreeze. When it came to the time I wanted to use that $5 each month I had been building up, I was told I had to pay another month to "activate" the money I had built rather than using part of the money I had built towards that activation. I really wanted to like this place & the experience. However, it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I bought 2 Groupon spray tans. I went in before my vacation to get some color. Once there - they insisted on a tour - which was fine with me. I was impressed by the facility. Then they started to talk to me about the packages they offered - I was interested - but not at that moment. staff and managers are unprofessional as well as judgemental and rude. not a happy environment and needs to work on themselves. very unprofessional on social media aswell, replying to comments rudely and PUBLICLY, it's embarrassing. do better as a business .
The spay tan machine sprayed me 5 times in the front and one in the back. Limited prompts and I've gotten spays before. The front desk person made me listen to a 30 min sales pitch when I said several times I was not interested in a membership. Took an hour to get a botched spay tan.
