I can’t rave enough about Dr. Sherin Johnson and the staff at Great Smiles of La Mesa. I was tortured my entire childhood by out family dentist and have severe PTSD. Symptoms include: holding my breath, while knuckles from holding my hands so tight, and my body ends up being so sore from clenching so hard a day or so after treatment. My gosh, I had NONE of that this time.This is the best dental experience I have EVER had. Dr. Sherin Johnson was very kind, she listened and heard me, I felt she was very trust worthy. What a great experience!!! Everyone there was so kind and made me feel very comfortable. This office makes you excited to go to the dentist! They have amazing high tech machinery that gave me the ability to see my teeth in a whole new way. 100/10 would recommend this dentist to anyone I know.

Great Smiles always manages to make “going to the dentist” not terrible, which is a near miracle. The entire team is unfailingly friendly and professional. They do great work and make you feel at ease. If you hate The Dentist, go here. You won’t be sorry.
