I've been a client of GAVH for 39 years, since the year after Drs. Monk and Hickes opened. Not only do I like the care they've given my Old English sheepdog, numerous hamsters and guinea pigs and three cats, but their compassion and understanding of me as a client is wonderful. My daughter worked at GAVH when she was in high school and is now a veterinarian in private practice in Pittsburgh -- partially because of Dr. Harrison Monk.

First visit today and I'm so glad I took my Daisy there. The vet really listened to me and didn't rush me through the door. Seemed to understand the need to balance of finding answers but not over-spending just for the sake of doing a test.
