great place to detox, good food, the TAs are great!
I have never been to rehab before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Everyone here has been amazing and have treated me with nothing but respect. While the staff is great, its the other women that are amazing. They all took me in and explained what to do. They helped me when i was crying and supported me through the entire process. So, its the peers that make this place what it is.
I have had a very positive experience at Greenhouse in my 4 weeks. Although it began overwhelming, the community, therapy, and groups soon made me feel comfortable and allowed me to focus on recovery. Examples of areas I would like to see improvement - more structure in the groups - handouts and workbooks to take home. Therapists and group leaders were great. Music therapy would be great. Repair hottub, rooms that have been destroyed, etc.

Greenhouse in Grand Prairie was a really good experience. they gave me he tools i need to make it through my recovery. All of the staff was very helpful and nice. I would recommend this facility to anyone that wants to seriously quit their addiction.
Overall the facility was adequate with a few exceptions. The wheelchair lift has been broken for weeks forcing a resident to walk down steps to a major meeting room and another resident carried his chair down. I have one of the few rooms with a balcony and it appears to have black mold on the ceiling. The furniture in my room was broken with missing and broken dresser drawers and a chair with feathers coming out of the cushion making it "pancake thin"
The facility was adequate except the furniture in the room was broken and, frankly, pathetic. Dresser had broken and missing drawers. The chair had feathers coming out everywhere which made the cushion completely unusable. The wheelchair lift has been broken for weeks forcing someone in a wheelchair to stand and walk down stairs to a main meeting room and another patient/ resident had to carry his chair down for him. I had one of the few rooms with a balcony which appeared to have black mold growing near the ceiling.
The main thing I would say is that keisha, daphne and quite a few of the ta's and staff need to work on being more respectful towards the clients. I came here to get well and we all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. There has been a covid outbreak and we don't know anything about what's going on.
