The total process of adding blow-in insulation and radiant barrier in my attic has been awesome. From the office to the installers, everything has been smooth. The installers Juvi and Kevin were professional, efficient, and really nice. Office representative Wyck was smart, helpful, and professional as well. The office let me know how to properly get the rebates and the tax cuts. Great experience!
It was really great working with Greenify. They were very helpful in understanding our requirements and designed the system for us with maximum optimization. Special mention to the owner of Greenify Aaron Parker. He was very patient listening to all our requirements and coming up with the whole process right until complete installation and system start.
I installed insulation to improve the comfort level of our second floor during the hot summer months. The first part was to install attic venting to reduce the attic temperature. The second part was to add insulation to increase the R-value from R-19 to R-49 after settling. Based on engineering estimates about 60% of the improvement was from the increase in insulation and the other 20% improvement is from reducing the difference in attic temperature and second floor temperature by 50% by venting the attic. I was scheduled to have my windows installed on Sept 15, 2022. But the installers were involved in a vehicle accident on the way to my home. Jason the supervisor came by my home to inform me. His workers sustained minor injuries and most of the windows were broken. So they had to put in a rush order for the windows. Greenify has performed energy efficiency upgrades and installed solar panels on our 1927 home (completed summer 2018) and a 1924 rental home we own (June 2022). We have been absolutely thrilled with the difference the upgrades have made in our heating and A/C bills. Wyck and Marleen have been prompt, helpful, efficient and friendly. Greenify was easy and pleasant to work with, reasonably priced, and performed the upgrades to my home with care and professionalism. I had radiant barrier and attic insulation installed. They even made the rebate process effortless. The installer took pictures of everything to share so I didn't need to climb around in the attic and did a good job on the vacuuming after.
I would highly recommend anyone looking for energy improvements or solar panels. For energy efficiency improvements, after an audit they put in insulation, a radiant barrier in the roof, and did air sealing. We love our new windows! Our house is much more comfortable. The extra insulation and radiant barrier help us save energy. The only issue we had was when the new thermostat was installed, the wiring was loose; this had to be fixed before our air conditioner would work.
