A party of 8 celebrated 5 birthdays— restaurant was very busy. Server (Caitlyn) did a great job. The birthday celebrants appreciated the complimentary dessert and everyone was pleased with their entrees. Thank you Grindstone’s for a terrific birthday lunch!

Despite several visits, I'm still surprised by the Grindstone Monon offering every time. An excellent menu ranging from burgers and fries to a top notch filet, a full bar and expansive wine list, and a classy, yet comfortable environment that's great for families, co-workers and friends, or a date night.

The food was good when it arrived. Service was not the best. The server said the computer wasn't transmitting to the back to make the food. Place has been in business for a few years and would have thought the bugs were worked out. Who knows.

We were so disappointed that they took the mushroom swiss burger off the menu. It was our go to place for that! Their menu is good, nice selections. As has everyplace else, prices have increased. $40 for lunch is a bit much with both of us having water to drink. Not sure why they don't offer bigger glasses with ice in them when you're not ordering any other beverage.

Most of the food was wonderful. The French onion soup was a bit salty. The chicken and noodles was very brothy and the tacos were just ok. The kids meals were great and the meatloaf and Hoosier Hot Plate was amazing! Our server, Hunter W, was amazing! She went above and beyond for us as we celebrated my wife’s birthday with our family!
