The city apartment was accessed by a very narrow alley and they had to move their truck several times so people could get in and out of the alley. They did this without comment or complaint. At our home, they were very careful about where boxes were going and very neatly stacked boxes of stored items. Nothing was broken or damaged, they were friendly, strong and competent. I took a gamble and hit the jackpot! On September 9, 2022, my wife and I needed to move a few large pieces of furniture from my sister-in-law’s place to our home. We had a bad experience with this company, unlike many other reviewers here, and hopefully we are a rare exception to the rule. However, our experience was so bad that I couldn’t avoid writing this review. At first, the communication was good, the scheduling went smooth. The pick up was great also. The crew who picked up our stuff was extremely efficient and wrapped everything really well. The trouble started after the pick up. The estimate delivery windows was 1-14 days. What A Nightmare! When my mother’s retirement community (RC) finally reopened (she died the day the pandemic lockdown started), we needed to remove her furniture and belongings. I was delighted to find this woman-owned company, with Better Business Bureau accreditation and stellar ratings. Our experience was not so stellar. The movers were scheduk d to arrive at 9am. Received a call at 830am saying one of the drivers had an emergency and they wouldn't be there until around noon. Now I understand things happen, but I now had to take a full day of work off instead of a half day. Initially I was quoted for 2 hours of work. The movers completed the job in 1hr 10min so basically the $95 dollars for the 2nd hour was a tip? One hour after they got there, they said that the furniture that I had would take another person. One more person and 5 hours later, it was not a $475 job, it was more like $700. I will never use them again. I feel they did not listen to me. Had they quoted that price up front, I would never have booked with them and gone to another vendor.

They tried to over charge. The move was only 3 hours, start to finish with travel time included, yet they charged over 5 hours. When I disputed the extra charge, Simon threatened me (I almost called the police). Beware of this company. Also know that they only take cash (no credit cards or checks).
