A little history about HAPO We are often asked what "HAPO" stands for. HAPO is an acronym for Hanford Atomic Products Operations. HAPO was formed by a group of non-exempt workers at the Hanford nuclear site in 1953 to provide a place to save and borrow money. Our first office was located in Kadlec Hospital. When we opened our doors for business, it was with one employee and were only open on Saturday's from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We remained at the Kadlec until 1956. The interest rates on my loan being so low is the only reason I've kept HAPO for my auto loan. Calling in for help is a nightmare every time - staff is generally nice but not especially knowledgeable.

I will never use this credit union again they’re crooks
I have HAPO community credit Union and I deposited a check on the 23rd of November the lady told me I could deposit it into the ATM without any type of late fee or anything like that then by depositing it in the ATM I got a letter saying that I'm now at a double the hold time which the bank manager did not tell me when she told me to deposit in the ATM then tells me my friends are going to be available on the 3rd as I explained to them I had to pay rent by the 4th I deposited three different checks into the account they let ... read more
HORRIBLE My family was approved for a loan, than after getting down to the final paper work we are told That they were now not approving the loan. From applying to now was well over 7 days. They approved a loan to take it back only once we were getting ready to sign on the loan. Who does that? They wasted my husbands time, my time and the sellers time.
