Let’s just start by saying Dr. Skane and his work was great. He was able to treat my issue with my tooth with ease and no pain. Only took about 45 minutes. HOWEVER the office staff he has is terrible. I never got a bill. I was sent DIRECTLY to collections. When I called the office to see what my balance was 1 week after my procedure, I knew my insurance needed a moment to process, I was told it was ALREADY in collections and I should have paid. My appointment with Dr. Skane was nothing short of awful. His "bedside manner" leaves a lot to be desired. I drove an hour, knowing I probably needed a root canal, which he confirmed. I left and had another endodontist perform the procedure, because I was made to feel like I was an inconvience to him. Yes, apparently Dr. Skane was voted #1 among his PEERS. Key word..."PEERS," not patients. Even if his peers were his patients, he deemed them important enough to be on his best behavior, I'm sure.
He misdiagnosed me and recommended an expensive unnecessary procedure. I saw someone else who fixed the issue fairly quickly and competently.
