I do not recommend because they killed my dog with a vaccine and later said he had health problems. Why would you give an older dog a vaccine before you are sure he can handle it. The phone call after took the cake, very rude and no sympathy. Do not go there
I do not recommend Harper Woods Vet - Our dog got extremely poor care here that resulted in something you can never take back. I would search elsewhere for pet care!
Due to a dramatic weight loss, it was advised to have 2 masses removed off of my dogs abdomen. Only to find out, the scale was faulty creating a difference of 23 lbs from his original weight; which in turn was confirmed by 3 vet techs. If this would have known of prior to, I would not have put my dog thru surgery as it was not necessary to continue his happy life. I’m truly disappointed with this staff and the lack of communication.
Please don't ever bring your pets here to have them put to sleep. My grandfather brought his old, severely sick dog in to be put down and he told me the whole experience was horrible. He originally came in by himself and was quoted something completely different than when he came back in with the dog. Once he was finally able to get his dog in an exam room which is very hard to do since he can't walk on his own, they told him they needed to examine the dog since they haven't seen him in a couple years which is understandable... read more
