I am a senior male with a common problem for my age group. Dr. Rutland is easy to talk with about my condition, and most important, knowledgeable about treatment options.
Very easy to talk to and helpful. Heartily recommended him to two others who now agree with me.

Dr. Rutland was called in late one Sunday night almost six years when I was hospitalized with pneumonia and was having trouble urinating. He assured me that I was curable and I could be released with a Foley and I would be back to normal within a year. He was right. I am now on an annual exam schedule. Dr. Rutland described the treatment regimen during his first visit in terms I could understand and followed up after I was discharged. I have recommended Dr. Rutland to several people.
He was very friendly, delightful, easy to talk to, and very professional.
Dr. Rutland definitely ranks as one of the best and most caring physicians I have ever known. He always takes time to make sure that your questions and concerns are addressed.
He was very much interested in my concerns and I never felt like he rushed through my appointment.
Explained to me my situation (kidney stones) and what could be done very well. He was also very kind and helpful to me about how I might be able to prevent them. Dr. Rutland and his staff ( front office and his nurse) were very helpful. I will make an appointment with him again and recommend others to him.
