We had the lunch special that was a spicy pumpkin soup with a shrimp skewer. It was so good we thought it should be on the menu. Great service as well!
I've found my new favorite restaurant at Harvest on Main. Food was fresh and delicious. I am gluten-free and there was plenty of choices on the menu. Our server made my Birthday fun.
I’ve always loved Harvest. This time a little disappointing tho. My friend ordered pork which was rare and the server encouraged her to eat it like that. My friend asked that it be more thoroughly cooked and awkwardly had to cut it and put it on a bread plate to be removed. It wasn’t returned until the rest of us were through eating and the server wanted to plop it down on her dirty plate.
There were seven ladies in our group. We waited in the cold for ten minutes for our table even though we had a reservation. Our table was in the back but acceptable. Our server also had tables downstairs and in the front section of the restaurant so she would disappear for long periods of time. We needed to get the manager for a soda for one lady who wasn't feeling well and for water for the rest of us. Of the six ladies who ordered a meal, three enjoyed their meals and three did not. Probably will not return.
My wife & I have been here numerous times, we visit at least once everytime we're in the area vacationing. Always a pleasant dining experience.
This was my third time at Harvest. I had a reservation for 7:00 PM on Monday 11/06/2017. I was seated in the basement bar area in the far corner table. I should have refused the service, but it was my wife birthday dinner so we stayed. I was looking for a cozy dinner out, not a bar table. The waiter also did not return my credit card, it was on the floor in the main room.
Very disappointed, our food took 35 minutes. We had to find our waitress to find out what the problem was. She came and apologized but never sent the manager over or offered to comp the dessert, for at least, the birthday celebrant. I did ask her to comp the one dessert but she said she did not know where the manager was. Really??? The food was good.
Best food in all of Blue Ridge!! Other then the hostess everyone was very friendly. Our waitress was over the top amazing. I can’t wait to come again!!
When visiting the Blue Ridge area, Harvest has been our go to place for a while. The food is good and the chef has something new/creative each time we visit. We always ask for Jeremiah to be our waiter. His service is outstanding, he remembers us from visit to visit and his drink and food recommendations are generally spot on. We'll be back!
