I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mayer’s for many years now. He’s exemplary in terms of diagnosing, prescribing medications that are deemed helpful, and is a great listener. He works with me and is open to trying different treatments if one or more do not help, or worse if I had a bad effect from a medication. His ability to hear me and stay up to date on treatments is profoundly beneficial and much appreciated. Dr. Mayer keeps open communication and is willing to work through any snags that have negatively affected the therapeuti... read more

He's good but some room for improvement. Shouldn't have closed my case so fast imo.

Worst experience of my whole life was my appointments with this doctor … .. He put me on a med that caused significant weight gain. I am post Liver Transplant and have a Chronic Kidney Disorder. I tried to explain to him that I can not go on meds because of the weight gain. The weight gain has made me CKD progress to the point , that now I am looking to get a kidney transplant. Not a good Doctor at all

Dr. Mayer called me out today as a result of my recent review. Rightly so. I’m horrified by what I wrote and barely remember. Dr. Mayer is there for me and has been for years. The irony in my view is that he lacked concern and couldn’t see past his ire that what I wrote is not at all like me and shows great distress and lack if judgment. I’ve spent almost two years looking for a primary care and a therapist. I’m desperate. So it may be the mental health system is what’s broken. Years ago suicide or self-destruction created i... read more

It seems I was too generous in my previous review of Dr. Pierre Mayer. Recently I again reached out to him for like the third time in a month (VERY RARE FOR ME) and he promised to help me since I was in severe distress. However I then heard from him that he did not feel comfortable helping me. Really!!!!? His comfort is not a reasonable excuse to not help a patient he’s seen for decades or even a new patient. I now remember he’s done this before and does absolutely not deserve a 5 star rating. As long as things are easy for ... read more

He is not trustworthy. He's socially inept and should find a new profession.
