I had a very good experience at The Haverhill Behavioral Health Pavillion. Bit was well staffed w caring providers who the majority were caring and professional.  I was surprised when the team always seemed to be informed about my issues during rounds the staff pay attention and document what they observe.  I was there for one month which allowed me to start a new medication and tolerate the initial side effects. The receptionist has a monitor in front of the window, so you can barely see or interact with the person assisting you. At that point, I think the hospital could save money by replacing the receptionist with a robot. This is a very impersonal and rude way to provide what is supposed to be customer service. Patients and visitors deserve to be greeted and treated with more professionalism and courtesy.

The worst place to send anyone who needs any kind of mental health support. 1 social worker who is a clown who does nothing for patients. 2 psychiatrists who are Donkeys.

This place is a disgrace. Leslie the social worker does Nothing. She is horrible at her job. She was supposed to find my daughter housing but did nothing except try to suck her insurance dry. This place is a prison. Patients can do NOTHING. Leslie didn't have the decency to even return phone calls. She said my disabled daughter was going to a shelter. Over my dead body. . They let some of the lower functioning people urinate them self's, and don't bother to get them cleaned up, they would lay in there own squander all day and night. There urine and fecal soaked clothing would just sit in piles in there rooms with no regards for the roommate. The food made me physically sick and gave me the runs the entire time I was there. This place is where you here horror stories of. Hopefully the state of Mass can do a micro inspection of this place, Stat!

I was just there, place is delapitated, dirty, smells, and is infested with rochs, there is mold in ceiling vents, water wrought behind sinks and water fountains. The food was absafuckinglutly disgusting. Jason o'Toole is your risk management manager at Haverhill pavilion behavioral mental health facility and that man is on socal media threatening to kill people who not believe in his ideology. Please do your investigation on him, it is not a good look for facility and for people safety

UPDATE: I have called DPH & Haverhill Board of Health-when I was there all the staff had to wear masks and I questioned if there was a COVID outbreak-“there is nothing to worry about” I developed a runny nose and chalked it up to my allergies and rapid weather changes Two weeks after I left I tested positive for COVID This is the complaint I filed with my local DMH office I recently had to receive short term services at the Haverhill Pavillion after being at Charlton ER in Fall River (was transferred to Charlton from a loca... read more
