Hired hawke to build a site for our product. They took over 3 months, given they told us this would be the time line. I expected the site to look like it took 3 months. Ended up looking like it was build by a Fiverr freelancer for $2k. The photography was completely sub par and they team members lacked communication and accused us of “bullying” them for asking changes to be made to the site. I wouldn't recommend Hawk Media to my worst enemy. We paid them $20k for website design. The original project scope had a 3 month timeline. It took them 6 months to deliver our final site and up until the last revision, the site was completely dysfunctional - links were broken, lots of spelling errors, missing product images, and so on.. They accused me of "bullying" them for saying things like "this link is broken, please fix it" or "this doesn't look good, please change it". Here is just a brief break-down of what we experienced. ~No approvals for app installations. Yes, they installed apps without our approval! We noticed when our sales dropped significantly and when we researched the issue we figured out the problem. ~ We spent 2k ( 10,000 ) impressions on an invoice. Based on the invoice, it reads as if we were paying for 2k impressions and the management of those impressions. Turns out, the 2k was just the management fee.
