This school year would be the second year that my children have attended Heritage Montessori in Lake Forest. Our family has been with Heritage since 2015. We toured many schools in both Irvine and Lake Forest including the Le Port schools before making a decision and we are so happy we chose Heritage! Both kids have flourished here. One of the first things that attracted us to Heritage was the beautiful school, big classrooms. Unlike some of the other schools that we toured that felt cramped, this school with it's high ceilings, spacious classrooms and big playground feels like you are in an old farmhouse! Very welcoming. Our son has been enrolled at Heritage for two years. We are saddened to have to leave the school due to a job transfer but you could not find a more wonderful place to send your child. Amanda is simply amazing and has helped us, listened to our silly parental concerns and made herself available for anything we should need. I remember our sons first day, a shy little boy who was nervous and clung to me crying not to leave him there. My daughter began attending Heritage at the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year. Because of her many food allergies and eczema this was her first year in preschool even though she was already 4 years old. I was very nervous about sending her to school because of her multiple food allergies, but Mrs. Maggie and the other teachers were always very careful about what she ate on share day and my daughter is also very vocal about her allergies so everything has been great. We have been very happy and satisfied with the pace in growth of our daughter's learning with Heritage since past 3.4 years. We have seen her grow in terms of developing learning skills(Math counting, vocabulary, recognizing objects, animals, singing songs etc). Her Social skills improved her a lot since we initially admitted her in January of 2014. We are happy with the over all development from a baby to a toddler to kid. Our son attended Heritage when he was almost turning three. He was in class #2. Being his first school, it was tough for him at first, but Ms. Caroline took really good care of him, and helped him with the transition. By the second month, our son started telling us what he learned in school, the songs, the art projects, the Montessori work, and the friends he is playing with. He started enjoying school. We are so glad that our son goes to HMS. New facility and wonderful staff. I am amazed with the academic and social progress that my son had over the past two years. Ms. Mano and Ms. Jessie are doing a wonderful job educating the children. I highly recommend HMS.

Our entire family from our three year old who attends, to her one year old sister who clearly wants to attend, and her grandparents who have visited, absolutely LOVE this school. The teachers and administrators are amazing, so welcoming, loving to our daughter, and very friendly. The school itself is full of character and feels very safe. Both play and learning are fully embraced and I am so impressed with what our daughter has learned so far. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place.
