My husband and I are beyond pleased with this school. The school itself is cheerful, welcoming and always clean. We also like that there is a clearly laid out curriculum and theme for each week of the month. The children are not only becoming academically enriched, but are also learning to be well-rounded human beings. After touring many preschools in the area my husband and I decided on Heritage and we couldn't be happier!!! Miss Kate and Miss Emily are so loving, sweet and everything we'd hope for in my little girls first teachers! Miss Madison is so helpful and always quick to help me with any concerns or questions I may have. My little girl loves school and is always excited to go!
They had me at "GARDEN" and "PONY"! Full disclosure, this is our family's first preschool experience and I think we are now spoiled. My 2.5-year-old daughter has been attending Heritage for 4 months now and has learned so much academically and socially in such a short amount of time. Felt the director and staff we were exposed to during our tour was rude. We arrived early and was confused how to enter the building then the director came out and asked us to wait outside as we were early. Her tone was not friendly and sounded even offended that we came few minutes early. The worst first impression. Unfortunately I feel compelled to update this rating as a year has gone by and I feel the owners of this school have completely taken advantage of the enrolled families. Since I first wrote the review below, I have seen the tuition costs for both the school year and the camp portions completely skyrocket. Moreover, registrations fees are now popping up everywhere (at an increase) for no apparent added value and in addition to having to pay a "material fee", I had to spend around $300.00 in school supplies. My daughter attended Heritage between June 2019 and May 2020. In March of 2020 we put in a deposit to save our spot for the 2020-21 school year. In May we decided to not attend because distance learning was not working for our 2 year old. She cried everyday and they expected children to come in even if they or their family was at risk. I registered my child here hoping for a wonderful education, but was terribly disappointed. I visited the school and volunteered a couple times and after hearing how the teachers were treated by the director, I pulled my child. I do not want my child interacting with that lady! The grounds were beautiful, but the director is intense and intimidating! Steer clear!
We switched our daughter from another Montessori in the area in hopes of better growth opportunities and a more creative learning atmosphere for her little mind to wonder and explore.
