Was good when we moved in 3 1/2 yrs ago...until rent continued to rise every time we renewed our lease. Not worth $1200+ a month to constantly stare at trash piled up around the dumpster all the time. After living here for two years We moved out 5 months ago and they are trying to get money from us for the carpet. We had two deposits, one pet deposit of 200$ non refundable and a first month rent ( 800$ for a one bedroom)deposit on the apartment when we moved in. What is a deposit for? When we lived here My husband and I have always been hassled over what we owe or being change for unethical reasons. I will NEVER tell someone to go there. We are very sorry to hear that you did not have an excellent move-out experience. Our goal is to always keep our residents happy, before, during, and after their stay. To clarify some of your concerns, the amount owed is from the damage the pet did to the carpet. We would not want anyone to move into an unsanitary apartment. The non-refundable fee paid for the pet was not a deposit. This policy was indicated to you when you signed as well as on multiple occasions afterward. NOT PET FRIENDLY! If your pets have any accidents (which all pets will eventually do) they'll charge you to replace the entire carpet once you move out regardless of where the damage is! So you'll have to pay for the next tennant to have some nice new carpet throughout. Location is not the greatest live there for a year and both gas stations around the corner got robbed and somebody got robbed at the Hardees right there at 9pm. David - Unfortunately the carpet was saturated with pet urine in multiple locations and needed to be replaced entirely. We surely cannot ask the next resident to move into a home with damaged flooring. Our property manager asked that you come to review the damaged areas, but you did not.
