Very solid printer Replaced an old HP printer. It prints well, double sided and has large tray for paper. My only complaint is that when it kicks in after sleep mode it must pull a lot of power, my lights flicker and my back up power kicks in. Tried plugging it into wall, into power strip, different plug in-same result. Other than that is fantastic.

So far so good..... I purchased this printer on 11/25/2019. I have so far put almost 4300 pages through it. I've had no issues other than after 3332 pages, the original toner cartridge said I needed to replace it. I swapped it with a "E-Z Ink (TM) Compatible Toner Cartridge Replacement for Brother TN880 TN-880 TN 880 Super high Yield (2 Black)", printed a few pages, and then put original toner back in. I am now 1000 pages more on that same cartridge and counting. I have had no issues with this printer. I am a mobile notary, ... read more
Prints well but you ought to know ... This printer is amazing: prints well, super fast, and easy to set up. When it goes from sleep to wake though, it requires a burst of electricity which actually takes out the circuit in my office. Every time I print, my battery backup kicks in for a second or two.

Great printer but? This printer is a replacement for the same model. I had this model for several years. Output was excellent. Then the printer starting putting a crease in the output paper. Contacted the Brother repair center. Cost $175 per hour plus parts to look at printer. Replacement parts toner $110 plus, drum unit $125 plus and fuser $150 plus. I checked on line and there seems (creases in paper) that a lot of owners seem to have the same problem with Brother Laser Printers. I bought the same same printer again due to... read more
Simplicity For a simple laser printer this will definitely do the job. It is energy-efficient and compatible to work with a mobile device. For simplicity I give it a thumbs up.
