I no longer feed grain free products to my dog. Please look up FDA report on Cardiac Myopathy related to grain free dog food. If you carry Purina Pro Plan Weight Control, I will then purchase from you instead of the big box. Other than that, we still buy our treats from Hollywood Feed. Thank you. I'm glad you are up on the grain free issue. However, after joining a group on FB where owners are testify their dogs are dying, the correlation (if not causation) is enough for me to switch. However, your service and employees are ... read more

Business response:

Dori, thank you so much for your feedback. We have been keeping a close watch on the FDA's ongoing investigation of the potential correlation between grain-free diets and increased cases of DCM (Dilated Cardiomyopathy) in pets. The FDA's report states that they've received 524 reports (515 dogs and 9 cats) between January 1st, 2014 and April 30, 2019, as well as additional reports of non-DCM cardiac disease in dogs and cats during this time frame. This is out of an estimated 77 million pet dogs in the U.S. (less than 0.000... read more

Always great service! A suggestion for you and the food providers: allow senior citizens to purchase several small bags of food that equals the weight of the large bags for the same price as the large bags. The 40-50 lbs bags are getting to heavy, but they are also the cheapest. Many thanks.
