I called on a Wednesday and asked for a representative. I was called immediately. I expressed that I need help with my dad who had a drastic decline in health. I wanted to keep him home with hospice and sitters around the clock. I was told that someone would call me the next day and they would start the same day after the initial evaluation. It’s now Monday. No call. I had to scramble to find sitters. It was stressful during an already stressful situation. But she ASSURED me that I would get help.
We hired Home Instead to provide care for our mom as she recovers from a fall resulting in a brain bleed. It has been a constant battle to get service. Either workers don’t show up or the office just doesn’t schedule anyone until we call to complain.
