My wife and I came from Elkhart IN to see a concert at the Scottrade Center and stayed at the Lumiere hotel. We had a great experience even considering we stayed there during renovations. Helpful friendly staff, clean room, and all around nice place! There was a skywalk from the hotel to the casino and a few "in house" restaurants which was very convenient. It was also walking distance to alot of cool restraunts downtown St Louis, walking distance to the arch, and walking distance to the 'metro' train to get to the sport... read more

I'm very happy that Lumiere now has the table game Mississippi Stud, it's my favorite game to play. The director Preston took time to talk to me yesterday, while I was playing and was very friendly and professional at his job. The dealer Freddie was also super friendly and personable as well. I was very happy with my gaming experience on the casino floor. My father and I waited till 4:00 for The Wok restaurant to open and that was a different experience. I come to the lumiere every weekend as a small get away and they treat us very good. I'm sad to see all the negative reviews I wish they had as good of a time as we have but we have heard many many story of the tight slots and have been witness to that but I don't believe they will ever loosen those up lol. The hotel gave us a non-smoking room when asked for smoking stayed One Night in the non-smoking and then they upgraded us to a smoking room yes the hotel was being remodeled but there was quiet loved the lighted flower pots Casino was cool too
