I'm 64 and had an inguinal hernia. It started when I was gardening and strained my groin doing too much. Nine months ago I had an inguinal hernia with a bulge the size of a golf ball. I am giving this review a 4 because of the length of time it took to heal the hernia. I used the hernia poultice for two weeks and did not see any benefits. I called and spoke to Hunter who told me to apply castor oil to the hernia before putting the poultice on the hernia. I immediately began noticing a difference. The hernia is not totally healed but the pain is gone and it is noticeably smaller. I am impressed.
