Professional, efficient, was able to explain medical terms so I could understand what my test results were.
It went very smoothly. It was my first visit. I didn't have to wait and was moved thru different tests quickly. The experience was comfortable and non-stressful.

It can be scary visiting a place like this but when met with the gentle, firm and swift care of Dr. Shepard, it’s a reminder of how I would like to be treated by medical providers. There’s no dilly-dallying, but at the same time you don’t feel like just another account to swipe through. There’s a thoroughness to this providers process but a respect for your time as well, and most importantly, a general vibe of goodness.

I liked the careful exam, she even had someone take precise notes of her findings. Then she explained them to me. She answered my questions in a clear comprehensible manner. She also gave me simple easily understood things to watch for.

Dr. Shepherd has been my mother's retina specialist since she moved to Chicago 20 months ago. I cannot recommend her enough. She has managed her macular degeneration and provides excellent care. She listens, is caring, and her expertise is unimpeachable. The office is very well run. Wait times are minimal and everyone is professional and friendly. I am really grateful we found Dr. Shepherd!
