I saw Dr. Whitlow as a patient about 7 months ago. Dr. Whitlow was very receptive regarding my pain concerns. He sat down with me and listened to my concerns and previous treatment paths. He took the necessary steps to make sure the treatment options available are the safest options for me. Together we came up with a plan to significantly reduce my pain! My spinal cord stimulator is providing me with between 50-70% pain relief which has given me my quality of life back!Him and his team truly want to figure out the root cause... read more

I was in so much pain before I was introduced to IPI and Dr Witlow. It was just by accident I happened to find there office, I was literally bed ridden for 3 1/2 years. Dr Witlow gave me my life back, and I could not be more grateful for Dr Witlow and IPI. I have been to a lot of different doctors by this time looking for help. I have 4 broken vertebrae’s and 2 are inoperable to fix is what I was told by 2 neurosurgeon's I had lost all hope before meeting Dr Witlow. So I’d recommend him to anyone as a matter of fact I have I ... read more

Dr Whitlow has helped me more in the past 18 months to get to a better quality of life than all the other Dr's I've seen in the past 29 years. He actively listens and seems genuine in his care and philosophy of treatment. Pain control is a battle of attrition; there is no magic bullet. Pills can help until you need more (and more), but actively participating in the treatment and realizing that you'll likely never be at 100% is ( in my opinion) key to moving forward. I never believed it was possible, but you can have better d... read more

Dr Whitlow takes the time to discuss the overall health of the patient. He is caring, compassionate, and genuinely concerned with the welfare of those under his charge. Just a nice guy.

Dr. Whitlow provides a kind and light heartened environment for patients, making it easier to invest in learning more about general health and well being and how it can be altered with pain. He offers a new perspective in how pain can be treated in daily life with different approaches, wanting the best plan of care suited for me. I’m glad I found a doctor that I trust, listens, and truly wants to make a difference.

Dr. Gheith is the first Dr. I've been to in a long time that truly seemed to care about my health and pain issues. He took his time with me, unlike other Dr.s who rush in and out like it's a cattle call. He was caring and had taken the time to look into my medical history. He and his staff were amazing!

I've seen Dr. Whitlow on a number of occasions for chronic back and leg pain. Why is he a great doctor? 1. He listens. I can't stress this enough. Both he and Dr. Gheith listen to patients instead of just prescribing. 2. He involves me in my treatment plan. He actively involves me in the decisions we make about my care. I know the details of my treatment, and what options lie down the road. 3. He takes the time to explain how my treatment works, any risks, and follow up. You're not a number. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone ... read more
