I've been to Island City twice to see Dr. Paul - a baby rat with a respiratory infection, and a blue tongued skink with a mouth injury. Both animals received stellar care, lots of attention (you can tell these people really love their jobs!), and recovered fully. I also love the atmosphere, very relaxed and friendly! Visits are fun and I always learn something new. It's so nice to have an exotics vet right here in town.
Last Friday i had to take my juvenile Chinese Water Dragon to see Dr. Paul O'Neil (as recommended by Island City) He had an eye infection from an improper shed and was the first reptile that I've had to have it happen too, doing all the make shift things to help it wasn't helping and i felt bad that it was at the point that i needed to see a vet.
