Don't waste your money at the Aston facility. These people are greedy I only been here for 9 months and my rent already went up. Between the property management and the district management they are both unprofessionally and disrespectful. This place is high-dollar and if you wanted to be taken advantage of then rent here. Came in for first month free but ended up being $25 more then the unit price itself plus they add on insurance monthly so prices online aren't the full amount. There are no fobs for building entry meaning anybody can just come right in and cut your locks; you can also only get 24 hour access if you have an LLC. Also many lights are out in the hallways so you will need a flashlight.

Total bait and switch. Came in for simple 5x5 unit, researched online, compared options, made reservation, called for appt to view, found the perfect location the...after 30 mins waiting for contract for $49/month unit they said "it's just $18 a month for insurance", but we can give you the special $12 a month." What??!! 2 hours into this and you spring an insurance requirement that's 25-35% of the price per month! NO THANK YOU. Wasted 3 hours of my time! Don't bother going to this scam place.

This place is just horrible!!! They are a mecca of mis-communication. They are sarcastic and down right rude on the phone. And do not care one single bit about the customer!! Steer clear of this place. The "manager" Ann was condescending, rude and instead of helping to remedy the company error of renting me a storage until that can not accommodate a vehicle, which they clearly knew the intent (telling me to have the registration, license etc), hung up the phone on me mid sentence. I've been pretty happy with this facility for several years until there was a break in last week. Vandals got on to the property and then into our building and cut locks. While nothing is missing (so far), there's a mess that will take several hours to clean up. When I asked Istorage corporate for a credit of a month's rent (a whopping $50!) they said no. So much for their concern for their clients. Renter beware! Inadequate property security, no building security and a corporation that just doesn't care. I'll be moving!

At some point even the worst experience becomes almost laughable. From the moment I arrived to move in under my reservation to the moment I vacated - this was a disaster. ***Warning*** If you move in under the $1 for the first month promotion, it's first calendar month, not an actual 30 days like Public Storage, CubeSmart and ExtraSpace all operate under. If you move in on the 1st, your $1 covers you to the 30th. If you move in on the 15th, your $1 still covers you to the 30th. Pretty crappy. I arrived to fulfill my onlin... read more
