went for restaurant week. Even with adding extra sides,the deal was great for an otherwise expensive restaurant. Definitely worth the splurge.
My husband and I had a mediocre time at J-Prime. We made a reservation weeks in advance for 6:30pm and got there right on the dot. Since they were extra busy, we did not get seated until 7:00pm and were just standing in the small entrance way for 30 minutes. People kept knocking into us and we were never given updates until our name was called to be seated. We even asked for water from the bar and it was never brought to us. Went for Restaurant Week b/c it was a good deal/price fixed. Our bottle of wine (which was one of the least expensive) was more than our food. The food was good, but I personally wouldn't make an effort to go/spend that kind of money if it wasn't for the restaurant week menu.

My ABSOLUTE favorite steak house! Incredible taste, cooked just the way I like steak. Apricot carrots are mind-blowingly delicious! Service is impecable! As a pastry chef, I'm not super enthusiastic about the desserts (they are decent, but no where near compare to the meal's quality). But who really needs it when you have such an incredible meal? Our dining experience was a little rough at the beginning. Our reservation was for 8:30pm and we did not get sat until 9:17. The only reason why we got sat was because one of the bar tables was available, so we settled for a bar table since the dining room was full and we were hungry. Our food was great, except for the fact that my steak came out medium well instead of medium rare.
