Food was excellent. Wait person attentive and noise level moderate enough so our party of six could converse without screaming at each other.
While expensive this steak is probably my favorite of all the steakhouses in San Antonio.
It was pretty good. The major issue I had was the plate for the steak along with the steak itself was way too hot I almost burned my hand and my mouth. Other than that it was good.
From the moment you valet your car to walking in to a Melanie smiling and anxious to help, we've never been disappointed. Carlos and Fernando are the managers and never take their eyes of keeping the client happy. We had JOHN as our server on our first meal there and have requested him ever time since. We are certain you'd have have the same experience with any other food server. It's our new go to place.
Our server Robert was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. The atmosphere was quiet and not congested although almost all the tables were occupied. The ambiance was calm with live music.
We tried this restaurant for the first time the other night on the suggestion of friends. What a great spot! There are a number of great steakhouse options in San Antonio and most provide a good steak and pleasant atmosphere. What sets J Prime apart is the level of service. Mannie, our waiter, was magnificent. Attentive, knowledge and seemingly very caring. Other staffers were equally attentive. The food was as expected at this price level although the scallops were room temperature rather than piping hot. They are new to the menu and hopefully the kitchen will correct this deficiency. Otherwise we were delighted.
Excellent food and great staff! The server made sure to take good care of us, kudos!
