The service wasn’t what I’m used to when dining there. The server kept forgetting our requests. Also they sat us in a very tight corner so it was uncomfortable at times. Food was great but it’s the service that sets them apart and unfortunately last night, the service lacked.
Food and service were both beyond reproach. Had their lobster bisque, which was just distilled essence of lobster (in the best way). Had the A5 wagyu (real Japanese Wagyu) filet and was not disappointed. It was served rare+ and was incredibly melt-in-my-mouth tender. Defintiely looking forward to my next visit there.
The staff was attentive and added to the experience.
Always a delight! Best steakhouse in San Antonio hands down.
The food was Excellent as always, the service needed some help this time but over all it was very nice.
The time I had with my girlfriend at J-Prime Steakhouse last night was one of the most memorable dining experiences I have ever had. The food and service were both top-tier. We both agreed that we felt pampered from the start. It was not just a meal. It was an event. Highly recommended!

This was our first visit to J Prime. We were greeted at the door and by other employees as we walked to our table. Our waiter was Alexis and he was personable and happy we chose J Prime for our celebration. Alexis told us we would not be disappointed. Alexis was knowledgeable regarding the menu and appeared that he had tasted many of the items offered. Alexis also asked if anyone had a food allergy so any problems could be avoided. First time at this restaurant with my boyfriend and we were not disappointed at all! Everything was wonderful, the services and food was top notch. I believe our server was Nathan, and he was great! Planning to come back here again and request for him especially. We got a Japanese wagyu filet mignon, prime tomahawk steak and added some gold flakes to make our valentines date more special.
