Food and service were outstanding. 8 ounce filet and sea scallops, au gratin potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Complimentary creme brûlée for dessert (anniversary). Great wine list and the smoked old fashioned was delicious! The only downside for us was the noise level. We love having dinner here but might have to request a quiet(er) corner somewhere. Expensive. The food and service are worth it but it would be nice to be able to have a conversation especially when it’s a romantic evening out. We’ll still be back!
Amazing food. I ordered the Filet Duo and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was the best I’ve ever had. The service is impeccable with every staff member catering to you. Coming other high end steak houses, J. Prime takes the number 1 spot in San Antonio for best service, best food, and good pricing for the quality of food and the service.
We had a very good experience and will return. We celebrated a birthday and that was a fun place to celebrate at.
I had the most beautiful time I've ever had my girlfriend was very impressed. Your guys are so attentive to everyone. I felt so well taken care of. Thank you I don't think that I can Thank you guys enough.
We have been multiple times and the food is always great and service is superior. I was a bit disappointed this time my main entree (sea bass) was cold. The time between courses was too long. Seemed like the kitchen staff was short. We have been when every table was full and the timing was perfect. This time about half of the tables were occupied and timing was off. Although the waiter was on top of things and kept checking on us. Just seemed like kitchen staff was short.
So enjoyed our waiter Marcus, very personable and made the experience special
