Our requested high top table was in use by a function so we opted to eat at the bar. Rotating bartenders service not as smooth as being seated at a high top with a waitstaff. Needed to warm up after a late afternoon lacrosse game in the cold so started with onion soup and a bowl of chili, both hitting the spot and warming us up. Had to wait a while to order the rest of our meal, but not in any hurry. Wanted to share the Bostonian sandwich but it came on just one plate and again had to wait to ask for a second plate. Jake and Joe’s is our “go to” especially with the grandkids. They do indeed have an awesome sports bar but we usually go to the dining area. My wife’s burger was phenomenal. The only slight negative is the service which is probably due to the current labor shortage.
As usual a great meal, thoughtful service and nice ambiance!

It was great. Our server could have been more attentive and did not offer us a dessert option but we know they offered it because we saw an awesome dessert go by.
