I had to select a new orthopedist due to a move, and Dr. Bowers has been a good choice. He ordered PT at a location close to me, and gave me a one and done knee shot, rather than the five I had in previous years. His assistant Melissa is friendly, helpful, and answers my questions on the portal very promptly.
I have been to a few Orthopedics in the past few years for my knee pain, and by far even after the first visit he seems more engaged to get to the bottom of my pain then all the rest have been. I'm on the younger side with previous sports and other injuries creating arthritis and more, and im always told I'm to young for these issues to be that bad. For my condition is very knowledgeable. He explained all options and of course any risks involved. I had total knee replacement 1 week ago and am rehab mode now. I already am feeling better now then before surgery. Will update again as I progress.
I was blessed to feel a connection with Dr. Bowers in my initial visit. He entered with a smile as he introduced himself to me. When I began to tell him about my health concerns and the overwhelming amount of pain that accompanied them, he seemed genuinely concerned and ready to help as much as possible. Thoroughly explained condition and options.
It is the third time he has treated me so far. Every time has been a very pleasant and professional experience.
Doctor seems knowledgeable. I felt that my diagnosis and treatment options were not explained well enough for me to make an informed decision regarding options. The appointment seemed rush and I was unable to ask pertinent questions.
Of course, when anybody gets surgery, there’s a certain amount of dread and apprehension. I have had two surgeries that Dr. Bowers has performed, and both of them were a total success. One was a rotator cup, and one was a total knee replacement. I just have to say that he is experienced, efficient, and an absolutely brilliant surgeon. I could not be more pleased with the results.
