Dr. Chang does everything he can to help relieve my pain. He asks plenty of questions and allows you as much time needed to explain your issues. He is very caring and such a friendly doctor. He has helped me so much and still continues to. I couldn't ask for anyone better.

The guy was on my insurance for pain management, so I went in after my surgery (c6-c7) disc replacement when I needed more medication (narcotic) he did listen to me tell me that normally he would not give me more but considering the circumstances he would for a month with a drug test and follow up. No problem I'm not even taking the pills he gave me as our plan was to get off them. I'm going to my follow up to get some ibuprofen. He was nice, looked at all my discs and was generally pleasant.

He has a wonderful bedside manner, showing a caring attitude when it came to my problem with severe pain. He is so kind, we feel that he is our friend as well as physician. When he closed his Edison office, we chose to drive from Middlesex to Jersey City just so we didn't have to lose him. I trust him implicitly. His staff is also wonderful. His Jersey City office is not very handicap-accessible so we are switching to Ridgefield Park, an even longer drive, but he is too fantastic to leave.

His level of empathy for your pain is non-existent, and his ego is out of control. I tried discussing with him his lack of experience in actually feeling pain, suggesting that he doesn't truly understand pain, because he doesn't suffer from chronic pain. What happened when I engaged him on an intellectual level, of which I am perfectly capable, he became hostile, and dismissive. He is arrogant, and should be ashamed at his lack of empathy, and humility. The hair tangle art on display says it all

We walked into the room...Dr. Chang was very unfriendly, no smile or friendliness at all....He only glanced at the medical records we brought with us...Did not look at the medical disc I brought regarding medical problem as he said it was a year old...gave his recommendation..no problem...When we expressed our concerns regarding his recommendations....he stood up, signaled to his staff he was done with us, and basically implied we were to get out. VERY RUDE...after waiting for 1 hour....

He compromised my disabled sister and me for a third party. Although his medical skills and diagnosis were on the money, his personal acquired opinion was a misconception based on inaccurate information by an outside third party. He did find water on my left knee and drained it and I did not realize why it was so painful to get up when I knelt on the floor.
