The valve was perfect in what it was designed to do The valve was perfect in what it was designed to do. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size and ended up sending this back. I ordered the correct size and the valve has been working perfectly ever since.

This Jandy is dandy! Good quality but pricey. Valve has a locking mechanism that keeps it in the position you set it at or can be left unlocked if you need to change its position frequently. Won't rust and hardware looks to be stainless steel I think.

Good stuff Jandy no lube valves have never let me down. Just make sure to use the multi purpose cement if using pvc this is abs and it uses a special cement. Oh and do not turn on the pump until the cement has dried preferably over night but at least go to lunch before yo turn on the pump. I had a leak because I did not have the patients to wait and turned on the pump only after 20 minutes.
Works great Did the job and haven't had any problems. Using two of these to perform multiple functions in the garden, including greywater diversion from the house, as well as the filling/diversion of rainwater into a cistern.I am very satisfied with performance thus far, and had a hard time finding a similar product elsewhere.
A Diversion I used the valve, not for a pool application, but to divert "greywater" for irrigation use. It fits nicely into an abs pipe plumbing system with "hubless" connectors allowing it to be removed and cleaned if necessary. The valve can be disassembled quite easily. This is important because you can then make it flow out either to the left or right. It is relatively inexpensive and ideally suited to my application.
