saved me $100s The pool builders recommended replacing the control unit also which would have been 2-3 times the cost. This also came with the flow/salt/temp sensor for only $10 more which cost over $100 last time I bought one. I received everything I needed plus some extras. It works great.

Ok Instructions could have been easier. One red and one blue wire in replacement leads, one black and one green in original panel. Nowhere in books does it describe these color connections. So far it's working, hope it does what it's supposed to. 3rd day, no measurable chlorine level.

Zodiac PLC 1400 I bought this as a replacement for a unit I had purchased during a pool remodel. The unit I received at that time was one of what I understand to be many defective units. This unit however worked great from day one and my pool is sparkling now. This unit came with a sensor for flow, salinity and temperature the original was defective like the cell unfortunately I had already replace that defective sensor so now I have a back up.
