Jared didn’t seem to fully understand his own processes or what I cared about relative to my loan. His attempts to steer me towards points were transparent. He failed to quote certain fees for locking my mortgage over the phone which were later added. The draft disclosures I received were frequently littered with errors - such as putting my home insurance at 15000/year, an absurd amount - and these were not corrected even after I mentioned them repeatedly to Jared.

An advisor/load originator that followed through with each phaze of the loan process to ensure that the ball isn't dropped. The change to close date caused absolute chaos the week of closing. Further, my issues are not just with Mr Green. They are with Mutual of Omaha and their blatant discrimination against people with disabilities. Lender did not take full advantage of closing credits, resulting in us receiving a higher interest rate than needed. When made aware of the issue, acknowledged it was an oversight, but said it was too late to fix the issue. We are now paying ~$900/yr in interest more than we needed to.

I would suggest using another appraiser who is more familiar with the neighborhood properties. Jared was great but the appraisal was not.

The communication and clarity and disclosure on rates etc was really tough. I don't know if its Jared's fault or Mutuals but I never clearly understood my options, it seemed random. Now I'm more upset that Jared convinced me to go with Mutual and that they would never sell the loan and it seems now its with Citibank. He promised me a free refi and now that its with Citi I guess that goes away. I'm pretty pis*** about that. He did get me the loan but I dont think he was forthright.
