Appt was fast and not personal. My big toes have been yellow and dead for a while so I went in, the Assistant told me my options before talking to the doctor, and then he came in and glanced at my feet. He repeated what the assistant told me which were 3 options for fungus and they all had 60% or lower rate of working. I thought my condition would’ve been worse so the 5 min in his office was a waste of money in my opinion.
Tarsal Tunnel autopsy! Never healed! 2 years and still crippled! Useless
I had arthrosurface toe hemi cap surgery not once but twice on the same big toe with Dr Bruce several years ago. After the first surgery it was painful for a while & when I returned with questions he said he would do another surgery as the hemi cap was in the wrong place. My toe is still stiff, immobile & hurts at the slightest impact. This surgery does not work & I wish I had not done it & lived with the arthritis instead. I have seen another foot Dr who recommends I have the fusion surgery. Not sure what to do but I’m very... read more
I had a terrible experience with Dr. Bruse. He is always in a hurry, doesn't have time for you and doesn't engage in meaningful conversations. I was there for neuromas which was elective for me to address. I didn't have to do anything, but I wanted to get rid of the pain so I hoped he would talk to me to help me understand the risks, side affects and pros and cons, but he never had time for that. He suggested shots which we did and they made my pain 10 times worse and I could hardly walk. He didn't mention that or prepare me... read more
The doctor didn’t even look at my foot. He just had the student do it. They didn’t listen to where the pain was and kept saying it’s plantar fasciitis. He said will get to better and left. It lasted about 2minutes. Not even an X-ray. And didn’t even say bye just walked out. Will not be returning to this office.
I had a very poor expeirence with Doctor Bruce. He does not have good bedside manners. He is in and out very fast. He doesn’t leave time to answer any questions. Before you can ask them he is already out of the room. He seems to rushed. I will not return back to him. I like to have a doctor who can sit and talk to help you know what’s going on. Both times I visited him I was very disapointed in the care I recived.
He was a nice guy but I went in for nail fungus and he prescribed a $600 bottle of polish that he said would take a year or two of using before my fungus would be cured. The pharmacist told me it might not even work that great even though it was so expensive. I called into his office 3 times over a 3 week period to see if I could discuss different treatment options but no one would ever call me back. I am now scheduling with a different podiatrist.
After reading many great reviews online beforehand, I thought Dr. Bruse would be great. I went in with a concern that I had plantar fasciitis and Dr. Bruse didn't ever give me his own diagnosis. He recommended shoe inserts and I bought some on my way out. They didn't end up working with my shoes and I tried to return them. They wouldn't let me and I was out $35. I wasn't very impressed with the experience at all. I felt like Dr. Bruse and his staff were impersonal.
