Silverberg came to LSU in Baton Rouge to complete his undergraduate studies in 1981 and earned his M.D. in 1985 from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Silverburg is very thorough. Answers questions. Wait time is unusually 10-15 minutes. After a visit he will personally call you to tell you the results of any test that were done that day. Trust him completely.
I believe Dr. Silverberg to be the best Endocrinologist in the region because of his exceptional knowledge, experience, professionalism, and, (very importantly), ability to communicate effectly with patients. I trust his ability to treat complicated medical conditions, and to me and my family, he has been a godsend.

No wonder it takes awhile to get in to see him. Dr. Silverberg is wonderful. He is calm, knowledgeable, dedicated (one time he called me on a Saturday with my lab results!) and kind. I recommend him to anyone who needs an endocrinologist.
Dr. Silverberg is an amazing doctor. He manages our 2 children who have T1D and would not trust them to anybody else...
