Loved it, was very happy with food and look of the building
Food quality was very good. All four in my party were happy with their meals. The service was good. Ambience was weak. The place was empty (albeit we were there on a Tuesday night) and lacked a cool vibe. Restaurant is cold looking. It could improve if it had white tablecloths and linen napkins instead of paper. The lack of either puts it in a non fine dining category. I’ve been to Joey in Newport Beach, California and that place is much better from a vibe standpoint.
Joey Aventura was the perfect spot for our monthly girls’ dinner! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and lively atmosphere that set the tone for a great evening. We are from Canada & frequent Joeys back home a lot so were thrilled when we found out that they had opened up here in Florida just outside Aventura Mall. As always the food is great, the selection great, the service great & the ambiance great! The only thing that we would criticize is the price of the drinks which seem to always be getting higher & especially for us Canadians - the cost @ 1.5 X is just too high a price to pay so we wish they were more affordable. Great vibe and good food and cocktails. Service a little slow but overall pleasant and enjoyable.
Brianna the bar manager could not have been nicer and she really went out of her way to make our time enjoyable! Plus the food was very delicious!
