Our server was excellent, which, with the ambiance and the drinks were the best aspects of the evening. The food was disappointing. They are unable to make basic substitutions to some of the dishes, so I caved and ordered the steak which was then overdone twice and lacking flavour despite swimming in garlic butter - I didn’t have the heart to tell them the second one was also overcooked and by then I was so hungry I could not wait to eat any longer so I ate it as it was and said it was better than the previous. Great experience at Joey Bell Tower! Service was attentive, drinks were great, and the food came out fast and fresh. The atmosphere was busy but still felt polished and welcoming. Definitely one of my favourite spots downtown.
