Joey Chinook is my ‘go to restaurant’ for consistent delicious food and excellence in service. My most recent lunch meet up was on the patio so noise level was good. Inside the restaurant can be noisy so a I request a quieter spot in the back. Keep up the great food and service Joey!
Joeys has been at Chinook for many years with a variety of unique spaces from booths in the restaurant and bar area to a rooftop patio area. Staff are always moving fast to meet up with the continuous feed of people from the adjacent mall so almost always busy. Staff are friendly and booth areas in Restaurant are comfortable. A good choice if you find yourself at Chinook Centre after shopping or before a movie.

Service was inconsistent during our visit. Things started off well, with food runners checking in, but there were a few missteps. My half-eaten plate was nearly cleared without being asked if I was done or wanted to take it home, and the same happened with my dining companion’s plate while she was still eating. We also had to ask multiple times for water refills, and our server was absent for a noticeable period. Another staff member eventually explained that our server had gotten very busy. Food was delicious and service was wonderful! Love the rooftop patio, was a really nice option when the weather was so nice.
