We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We arrived 10 minutes early and we had to wait for our table as the previous client stayed longer than 6:00 pm. We were seated at 6:15. The waitress placed our Steak/Lobster/Crispy Potato as Steak and lobster pasta by error. Throughout our whole meal we were being swarmed by fruit flies. We always enjoy Joey’s, usually going to the Barlow location. I was really looking forward to the Italian donuts which Chinook don’t have on the menu. One of the wait staff sold me on their new Crack Cake (GF btw) which was mediocre IMO. But for $19, I would not order it again.
The cuisine is absolutely outstanding. I honestly have nothing to complain about. This is not my first visit, and every time the food has been consistently excellent. However, there are some recurring service-related issues. One of my fav restaurants to go to. Dumplings came out lukewarm warm, broccolini was not charged it was burnt Steak over cooked Butter chicken was also lukewarm warm and waiter barely came to table and restaurant was not busy One of worst experiences at joeys ever Eau Claire location far superior

Ordered ribeye for dinner prepared medium rare. After waiting 30 minutes for our meals, the ribeye was prepared medium well. Steak is easy to prepare, so not sure why a thermometer wasn’t used in their kitchen? We had wait again for them to remake the ribeye. We also had to ask each time we needed drink refills as well. Overall a very disappointing experience with the food and service last night.

Foid was great service was slow Did not ask if there were any allergies
Let me start with the good, the bartender was our server and was working very hard, especially behind the bar, servers around were hustling and very efficient. That being said, we made a reservation and noted it was a special occasion celebrating my daughters big promotion, this was not acknowledged not were we ever asked what brought us in or how we were, etc. why ask your guests to notify of special occasions if they will just be ignored. Serve was extremely slow. We waited close to an hour for our food.
The chicken on my salad was raw. I was too embarrassed to spit it out so worried all night that I would get sick. Had to ask 3 different people for a soda refill. Finally got it as I was about to leave
