Service and food always excellent from all people involved.
It took 15 mins to have anyone approach our table, we had to ask someone who our server was. It was not overly busy at our arrival either. Once drink order was taken was another 15 mins until drinks arrived. Also was hot outside but also very hot inside the restaurant.
Friday afternoon for lunch, restaurant was full and one might expect slow service, but just the opposite. Service was excellent, very quick and efficient. Our main server was attentive and there were many others who helped with service. An especially nice touch for a very hot Friday afternoon was being asked by the lovely hostess if we’d like a glass of bubbly as we came in the door. Little touches like that are very much appreciated. It was a great start to our weekend.
Upon entering Joey Don Mills, Madison made us feel welcomed. Our party of 3 was offered a glass of prosecco for each of us by Madison upon being seated at a booth,. Joey has lots of excellent choices on the menu that can be shared. The chefs use the freshest ingredients to create flavourful dishes that are beautifully prepared and delicious. Checked in at 8:30pm and waited until 8:50pm for a table. We ordered an app and had to check on the status at 9:30pm because it still hadn’t come out. I’ve been to this location many times and they are usually on the ball so I’m surprised with the service I got this time. It seemed like they have reduced the number of wait staff and they were going as fast as they could - but just couldn’t keep up with the number of people dining. It was quite busy. Hopefully next time is better.

Had a business lunch. Food was good, but the service was slow. Our waitress took too long to take our orders, and then I had to try and flag her down to get the bill. This was a business lunch so we didn't want to spend a lot of time there and needed to go back to work.
Mediocre at best. Service is chaotic and inconsistent. Admin took us to the table that was dirty/not ready. Fish portion in the fish tacos was extremely small, tortilla was dry. Wouldn’t recommend that place to anyone.
Food is always great but the portions for the price are too small. My steak was tiny so I was very disappointed. It’s too bad because I’ve always lived this place. Hopefully some improvements can be made in portion.
